Pridgeon-White lunch

Our family and the White family got together for a lunch a few Saturdays ago.  We all got there just before lunch, ate together, and then played in the pool for a while.  The girls had so much fun swimming with their cousin, Anna, and their new friends.  Kate did a lot of swimming around on her own (with the puddle jumper), and Liv was yelling at me to let her swim on her own:)

Hopefully we get to do this again sometime soon!

Will - 3 Months

Three months, little buddy! 

I can't believe how fast time is going.  

Will seems to be growing like crazy; he's getting too big for 3 month clothes and size 2 diapers.  He's finally chilling out a little bit and will let me set him down from time to time.  He even plays alone on the play mat sometimes! He likes to sit in the bouncy seat and watch me cook.  He definitely still prefers to face out (Baby Bjorn, not Ergo), and likes to be held and bounced more than anything.  But, he's getting better at sleeping on his own, and I think we'll transition him to the crib soon.  

He likes his big sisters, as long as they're not too close, and it starting to be more and more aware of what's going on around him.  His hair is coming in blond, and those baby blue eyes are sticking around - I love them!

He's up a few times most nights, but goes right back to sleep once he's fed.  Most naps are in the 20-40 minute range.  We have had a few monster 2 hour naps when we put him in the swing.

He tracks objects and people, and is grabbing onto things now.

Will Matthew, you are so stinking cute.  I can't get over how adorable you are.  I love to sit and watch you, 'talk' to you, sing to you, and play with you.  I love to hold your hands while you nurse and I love holding our cheeks together when you're burping afterwards.  Please don't grow up too fast!

strawberries!

We love strawberries and we've made a tradition of picking our own at DeLange Redberry Farm in Hudsonville.  We went out with my parents and picked more than 40 pounds of berries! The girls had so much fun filling their buckets and we are stocked with strawberries for the next year:)

Happy 2nd Birthday, Annabelle!

Our oh-so-sweet niece, Anna, turned two on June 4.  We celebrated her birthday with a fun ice cream themed party at Paul and Nikki's lake house.  Matt had to work the weekend, but I went down with the kids and had a great time.  Kate and Liv loved playing with Anna.  They went for their first sea do rides; Kate loved it, Liv did not.  And Will went for his first boat ride.

 

We stayed the night at Grandpa and Grandpa's house and spent the next morning with Grandma Pridgeon.  The girls especially enjoyed helping water her flowers and checking on the corn:) We headed home after naps, and Matt actually beat us home.  Happy birthday, Anna, and thanks for a fun weekend!

Nope, every day is not easy.  Truth be told, most days are really hard, and Matt is in a tough season at work right now, so he hasn't been home much.  But, look at these smiles.  They melt my heart and make it all so worth it.  I love these kiddos so very much!

zoo day!

We spent a fun morning at JBZ with our Side By Side friends.  The weather was a little cooler, which was actually really nice.  The girls had so much fun seeing the animals, and one of the other girls even had extra passes for the funicular, so we got to ride it down after we saw the tigers.  I'm so thankful for this time with friends!
