ice skating

We went skating at Rosa Parks Circle again over the Christmas holiday.  Kate was all about it, Liv didn't want anything to do with it.  Andy and I each carried Liv around on the ice, but she had no interest in getting her own skates.  Thanks for a fun time, Uncle Andy and Aunt Sam!

We went out to breakfast with my parents on Christmas Eve before leaving town for the farm.  The girls requested Rainbow Grill, and Will was happy to go anywhere.  Kate and Liv even wore their pajamas:)

We spent Christmas at the farm and had lots of cousin fun time.  We all went to church together on Christmas Eve, and celebrated with presents on Christmas morning.

I made aprons for all the girls this year:)
Uncle Paul is under this mess of kids!
We headed home a few days after Christmas and celebrated with the Kadzban's on December 27.  We had a fun day together, and even got to see Bryan and Lisa (from California) for a few hours.

Will - 9 Months

Our precious boy is NINE months old! He is sitting up and getting very active.  He wants to be where everyone else is and be part of the action.  And just look at that smile.  I love it so much! He's a big fan of daddy and is starting to babble and get excited about things.  He likes looking at books and turning all the pages.  So far, he's been a fan of pretty much every food he's tried - it won't be long before he's bigger than Olivia!

Kate wanted to be in Will's pictures too:)
And Liv was just adorable in her new neck warmer:)

Will's first haircut!

I put it off as long as I could, but Will's hair was just getting crazy.  He wasn't quite sure what to think of Mrs. Jill (our neighbor) touching his head, but he wasn't too upset about it.  Now that his hair is shorter, he looks like such a big boy!

Kate's preschool Christmas program

Kate's class had a 30 minute Christmas program where they sang songs and recited a few rhymes.  It was adorable.  Kate had been practicing a few of them at home, so they sounded familiar, but it was so fun to see her doing them with her whole class.  She was super excited and very animated.

Aunt Tessa came to the program, and so did my parents, and we all took Kate out for a special lunch afterwards:)

Christmas Tree and Gingerbread House

The second weekend of December, we went out to Prince Tree Farms with my parents for our annual Christmas tree trip.  We found them pretty fast this year, and were back home by lunch.  Will did pretty good with the cold and snow.  Kate and Liv loved it - they would've walked around and played in the snow all day.

Later that day, we broke out the gingerbread house kit, and the girls worked together to put it together and decorate it.  Kate was all about decorating the house.  Liv just wanted to eat all the candy.  With a little help from daddy, it turned out beautiful:)

This is how you decorate the Christmas tree when you're 5 and you can't reach any higher...

And this is how you decorate the tree when you're 2 and you find a good branch...

FMG with friends

We met the Johnson's at Frederik Meijer Gardens one Tuesday morning.  Everything was decorated for Christmas, and it was so fun for the kids to play together in the Japanese Play Room.  Yay for friends!
