snuggles with Grandma Pridgeon

Grandma Pridgeon came up to visit for a day when Will was about six weeks old.  He was just starting to get a cold from his sisters, so he wanted lots and lots of snuggle time.  Grandma seemed to enjoy it, and I really enjoyed having two hands free to get things done!

Sunday Fun day

A walk at Prairie Wolf Park and ice cream at Houseman's...welcome, Spring, we're so glad you're here!

Will - 1 Month!

Where did the first month with this little guy go? Matt jokes that we lived most of it in the dark hours of the night and the wee hours of the morning.  I guess that's life with a newborn.  We wouldn't trade it.  Well, I wouldn't, I guess I can't speak for everyone:)

So far, Will has not been the chill third child everyone raves about; he's a little high maintenance, but all of our kids were at this age, so it's not a huge surprise.

He is a mover and a shaker and a total wiggle worm!

He likes to have his back and bottom patted, but don't rub his back; he's ticklish:) But he does like his arms and legs rubbed.

He's super gassy - lots of stinky toots!

He's a very noisy baby, especially with sleep.  He's always grunting and squeaking and fussing.

My first attempt at Will's one month pictures didn't go so well...

Thankfully, he was a little more awake and happy the next time I tried...

Hope you like our sweet little man as much as we do!

Matt's vacation

Matt took a week off not long after Will was born.  We tried to do lots of fun stuff with the girls while I had an extra set of hands.

Kate Soccer - week 1

Kate wanted to try playing soccer this spring, so we signed her up for a 4-5 year old league at the Y.  She was pretty pumped about her uniform, but was super timid once they started.  I'm not sure she actually understood what the point of the game was, but we'll get there:)

Easter 2016

Our Easter was pretty low-key this year.  I guess that's what happens when you have a two-week old baby.  We did all get out to church together, and that was great.  The girls played outside for a long time after church, and we had lunch at home.  After naps, we went over to my parent's house and did an Easter egg hunt for the girls.  It was super fun to watch them both looking for eggs, and Kate was super sweet to leave eggs here and there for Liv.  We, unfortunately, didn't take a family picture, or ever a picture of the three kiddos together.  Bummer.

Best try at a family pic - man, I look tired!
