a few of my favorite things...

It's best if you hum the song from The Sound of Music as you read my list of my current favorite things (I got the song stuck in my head and that's what inspired this post):

• Listening to Kate jabber and squeal in the backseat whenever we drive anywhere
• Italian Sweet Cream coffee creamer (especially with The Pioneer Woman's Iced Coffee)...if you like coffee, you should try it!
• Kate's curled up little toes

• Our new deck furniture...we use the deck so much more now and I love sitting out there, especially with a good book:)

• Kate's cloth diapers...I love how well they work and how cute they are

• My sewing machine and all the fun things I've been making with it...taggie blankets, pillows, burp cloths, nursing covers

• When Kate falls asleep on my shoulder...it doesn't happen very often, but it's so sweet when it does
• Our photographer, AshleyMade, and Kate's awesome 6 month pictures

• Kate's laugh...it's probably the best sound in the whole world
• The Hunger Games...yes, I finally read the series, nap by nap, and thoroughly enjoyed them:)
• Our stroller and taking walks with Kate

• When Kate grabs my face and squeals and tries to eat it
• Watching our garden grow

Kate also has a few favorite things, as of late:

• Sophie the Giraffe...I was skeptical, but she loves the thing!

• Squealing at herself in the mirror
• Sitting up

• Rolling ALL over the place
• Scratching everything
• Tags...she will search all over a toy or stuffed animal to find the tag and then just play with that

Hopefully this captures us where we're at right now and leaves us with good memories to look back on:)
