Grandma Pridgeon's visit

It had been a while since we saw Grandma Pridgeon, so she came up for a day to play and hang out and see all of her Grand Rapids girls.  She brought along a new recipe for banana bars for us to try, and Kate loved helping bake them.  We also had a picnic lunch, dinner with Justin and Tessa, and a trip to Frederick Meijer Gardens to see the butterflies one last time.  We certainly packed in the fun in just 24 hours!

The only bummer was that Grandma didn't get to see Matt.  She waited and waited for him to get home on Wednesday night, but he was on call and didn't leave the hospital until just after 11:00, and that was just too late! He was up and out of here early Thursday morning, too, so she'll have to catch him next time!
