a few new things

Kate has a couple new favorite things to do, and I want to remember them, so I need to write them down.  Right now, at nine and a half months, Kate enjoys...

• crawling over to the bookshelf and pulling all the books down.  Sometimes she actually looks at them, sometimes she pretends to read them, and sometimes she just crawls on them or chews on them
• banging toys together to make noise
• pointing her adorable little finger at anything and everything (and sometimes nothing!)
• eating meat
• sitting in the front of the cart at the grocery store
• jabbering away in her own sweet language (with lots of tongue noise!)
• giving us a super cheesy smile, with her nose all scrunched up
